Why Women Fall for Bad Boys

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

By Rion Williams This whole concept is completely illogical to countless millions of men who are ‘great catches’ or take the traditional ‘courtship’ approach to dating. They don’t understand how women keep falling for these guys. Let’s look briefly at the actual relational and social dynamics that are going on so we can understand more of this phenomenon. This way maybe you can prevent being the guy your beautiful girl-friend cries her shoulder on about the jerk she’s seeing. Instead you can be the ‘all around guy’ that she ends up getting physical with for both the benefit of both of you. Today’s women are living in a paradox. They often can’t even explain why they do what they do. Everything logically tells them one thing; to GO for the really ‘nice guy’ who brings her presents and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, almost always (unless she’s a gold-digger who wants to use him) her heart isn’t into it. She doesn’t have ‘feelings’ for this kind of guy. Sure it appeals to the popular social ideal that’s proported in music and movies, but when did that help you or her out? I mean, are you really looking to get married with a woman starting from the first date? You don’t even know her yet! Times have changed his our grandfather’s courted our grandmothers! Society basically promotes the edification of the woman; chasing her, putting her before you and essentially on a pedestal. She’s the ‘prize’ to catch, but all of this gives her the power and favor in the relationship which isn’t natural. This is also taught to us by our mothers so that ‘nice guys’ would become good, caring husbands. So many men have taken this advice seriously (because it’s also promoted in movies, music and t.v.) that we now have a social pandemic of epic proportions. Throw into the mix that society has reversed the social power and given it to women while at the same time repressing these men even further, and you’ve got more of a relational mess. None of these nice guys are right for the girl because they’re coming on too strong too soon (for a long-term relationship) and primarily because though the women can take the guy to her parents, she doesn’t feel attracted to him. She now has more freedom than ever and with social influence like ‘Sex and the City’ she wants to have fun and be casual. She wants to get to know a guy instead of being pressured into a marriage type relationship with him before knowing him. So what is left for a woman’s physical freedom? The (now-glorified) outcasts. The bad boys, jerks, a-holes, etc. who didn’t care about mainstream social programming, therefore weren’t affected by it like the mainstream men. These guys have maintained their natural character and haven’t been influenced or altered to fit any social norms. Thus, they are the closest thing to being a man and the women are attracted to these guys because they can trust them to be themselves. When the woman can trust a man to be himself, she can open herself up around him because she knows what she’s getting. She can trust him to be him for who he is. The bad boys and jerks are living in their own reality. They’re not subject to the doctrine of mainstream society so they don’t let that get in the way of just being natural. All men and women instinctively know the mating process; social influence (and then the inner belief of that social influence) has just got in the way. The runt of the litter starts believing he actually IS disfavored and undesirable when it was really just his social environment that influenced him. You don’t have to learn how to have success with women and dating. You have to UNLEARN everything that has corrupted your ability to know what to do. It’s time for millions of these mainstream men who really DO have long-term value to step up and understand relational dynamics so that they can give women what they want; a real man. Not the jellyfish-backboned manboy who caters to her every whim and desire. The shift hasn’t happened yet on a mass scale, but when more men start stepping up, women will then be able to prefer these guys over the outcasts. Women have to be attracted to a man and this is her own natural and biological character; it’s the opposite of her own social conditioning. Apply Alpha Relational Dynamics and you can be the man that women want and you can frame the type of relationships you want and they can take it or leave it; join you or not. You can take them away from the tremendous social pressures they are going through and literally HAVE TO uphold. Otherwise they’ll go back to their romance novels, vibrators, and ice cream. Listening to social programming even more is just damaging. You have the power to differentiate yourself from it and re-frame your entire reality so that you have the same power as a bad boy without all of the bad drama. Then you’ll have the dating success you deserve. Rion Williams is one of the foremost experts in dating advice, personal power and relational dynamics. He is well-known within the seduction community itself. His work focuses on the regaining and improving of real character within frustrated men who do don’t want to ‘act’, use pick-up lines or techniques to get women. He teaches modern men how to truly be natural and comfortable in their own skin to consistently succeed with women, attraction and dating. What is Involved in Believing?

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

By Lynn Bradley Believing in God does not necessarily mean we are saved. There is more to salvation than acknowledging a Supreme Being. We are saved by faith, but it must be without doubts. You may publish this article if the resource box is left intact. In Mark 11:24 Jesus said that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. James indicted that we should not think we will receive anything from the Lord if we doubt and do not believe (1:6). When the blind men in Matthew chapter 9 asked to be given sight, Jesus asked if they believed he could do it. When they answered in the affirmative he replied, According to your faith will it be done to you (verse 29). There is no doubt that faith is necessary for prayers to be answered. The belief system in mankind is extremely complex. We have the conscious and subconscious buried deep within our skulls. Students of the mind write about the subconscious as if it is supernatural. They claim that if we can convince it we truly believe, it can do wonders. Is it really the subconscious that is working the magic or is it God? Our total belief gets his attention and his power is active in all areas of our life. When we speak of self confidence is it believing in our own ability, or does it take in the fact that we rely on God to give us the power to do what we want to? We plan our course, but the Lord determines our steps (PR 16:9), so it is difficult to know precisely what we do of our own power, and what he does through us. When we speak of believing in God, it of necessity includes the beliefs of the conscious and subconscious. When we believe we will receive what we ask God for in prayer, does it come solely from our own thinking, the result of our knowledge of the Bible, or does he have an influence on our optimistic decision? When Jesus was asked if he could cast the evil spirit out of the boy in Mark 9, Jesus said, Everything is possible for him who believes. The boys father exclaimed, I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief (Verse 24). This indicates that we have degrees of belief and unbelief and we get the idea from the verse that Divinity has some influence on our faith. Jude 1:24 states that the Lord can keep us from falling. We dont know how he does this and are not aware when he takes such action. What then does it mean to believe in God? First, we are to love God with all our heart, soul and mind (MT 22:37). In other words, our whole being is to be in harmony with our Creator. The belief of the subconscious is the sum of all the thoughts of the conscious mind. The Bible heart is located in the mind, thought to contain our belief system. This is the love of God; to obey his commands (1JN 5:3). Until one has obeyed his commands, he does not have the love of God, and does not have saving faith. James says faith without action is dead (2:17). We are saved by grace through faith. It is not of works (EPH 2:8). James explains that faith is made complete by what we do (2:22), The Bible meaning of faith is moral conviction of religious truth of God, assurance, belief, fidelity. Believe means to have faith in, to make a commitment to obey him, to put trust in the Godhead. When expressed as the subject and noun, faith or belief is used. If expressed as a verb, believe is used. Verbs require action, so believing without doing is useless. To believe, to have saving faith, is to put complete trust in Jesus, to make him the Lord of your life, it is avoiding willing sins, it is doing what you can for his cause. It is not to be concerned about physical things. It is taking your troubles to Christ and leaving them there. The author of this article also wrote, “Climbing the Heavenly Stairs.” Get the feel of your faith and live life to the full. Get acquainted with the Godhead and develop an unshakaable faith. Learn to depend on the one that makes no mistakes. He has promised to work out everything for the good of those that love and obey him.Read more at http://thelynnbradleybook.com. Are Fruits Making You FAT?

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

By Dr Jeff Banas I want to make this perfectly clear, fruits are healthy and they are good for you. They are loaded with vitamins, fiber, and minerals. Fruits have also been shown to fight against cancer. However, when we are talking about weight loss we need to take a closer look at fruits. It is pretty obvious to everyone that when you want to lose weight you watch your sugar intact, right? Well, there is a reason why fruits are called, natures candy. Fruits are loaded with sugar, fructose to be exact. This why athletes use them during endurance for energy, and why people suffering from hypoglycemia, low blood sugar, use them to raise there blood sugar when needed. That is where one of the problems is. Fruits are carbohydrates. Never eat a carbohydrate by itself. This is basically all sugar. When you eat a carbohydrate by itself there is a sudden increase in sugar in the body. This causes the body to release insulin. However, the body releases too much insulin because it thinks more sugar is coming. The insulin basically grabs the sugar/carbohydrate and stores it to fat for use at some other time. Since your body released too much insulin there is not enough sugar to support the brain function. That is why you feel tired or sluggish. So youre fatter and dumber. So, if you are going to eat a carbohydrate, eat some protein with it, it will slow the release of the sugar. You need realize that a glass of orange juice is just about the same as a glass of soda. Are You Stuck in the Middle?

Monday, February 25th, 2008

By Debora McLaughlin Are you stuck in the Middle? Are you working in one job and feeling dissatisfied but are unsure if you should stay or go or if you left, where would you go to? As a Career and Business Coach I work with clients who are in career transition, they want to advancing in their career, exploring changing industries or owning a business or may be returning to work after a period of unemployment. Being in a state of transition is like being stuck in the Middle. The middle for career transition represents the psychological space where we are in between opportunities, one foot planted in our former work world and the other dipping our toe into a tentatively unknown work world. Most of my clients say that this in between stage of career transition is the most anxiety provoking. Transition simply by definition can be exciting as well as disorientating. Herminia Ibarra, author of Working Identity states at the root of transition is transit, a voyage from one place to another. As in any voyage, there is a departure, a disorienting time of travel and, finally a destination. Ive gone through several working identities myself, from sales and marketing in the information technology industry to the quieter world of psychotherapy and then to my perfect place, the warm, comfortable and all embracing world of coaching people in the field of work and business. I often talk to my clients about creating the coaching space an incubator space in between us where we throw ideas and chose which ones to grow. Being in the middle of a career transition is also creates an incubator space. You can use this space to try out new possibilities. It is here that new working identities are born and cautiously tested in the world by crafting experiments, learning more about new occupations, talking to people who work in those fields and even trying them on by job shadowing or testing a career change. So how do you explore what other career opportunities might be right for you? 1. First take time to discovery more about yourself, explore what gives you fun and joy in your life. Think back to when you are happiest. Who are you with, what are you doing? Where are you? What would it be like if you were able to do the work that provided this sense of happiness and joy each and every day? 2. List the working identities that interest you. What did you want to be when you grew up? What dreams did you have? What are you doing when time seems to just fly by? What gifts do you have that you are not using? Create a list of possible working identities. 2. Learn more about an alternative working identity. Network with people who are doing the jobs you are interested in. Wonder how you would be as a stockbroker? Job shadow for a day or two. Try volunteering in your new field. Try it on as you would a new spring coat, does the fabric look good, is the fit comfortable? Journal your findings as you go from one identity to another. 3. Try a new activity that is related to your new possible self. Try on researching the work of stock brokers, attend financial trade shows, and handle some investments for yourself. 4. Get feedback from others. How would they see you in this new role? 5. Once a new working identity seems to fit, embrace it, revamp your resume as you would your wardrobe, put on the new stockbroker face and then, armed with all of your self discovery work, career assessments and work experience, undergo the effort to find work that meets your new identity. 6. Remember this is a process. If financially feasible start as an apprentice, get an internship if you have to start anew. If your financial responsibilities do not allow for this, work on what it is that you need to do to get the work that you want while working somewhere else, further education, work experience etc. Never let your eyes leave your target. Keep in mind that some transitions take longer than others. 7. Note that your passions can come from you work as well as through volunteering, enjoying new experiences and simply exposing yourself to that which truly interests you. If your passion does not support your financial needs that is okay to, work you job, live your passion. For example, a female client in California worked at a television station, she understood she was unhappy there but was not sure why. Through further exploration we discovered that she was a person who needed affiliation and affection in her work, to help others and to be valued. She explored the idea of working as a speech pathologist, an early education teacher, and a non profit director, until she finally found her perfect working identity, that of an occupational therapist. She starts her program this fall and is very excited. An environmental engineer longs to teach social studies later in life, for right now he shows off his love of civil war history by providing school assemblies and working part time at a museum, providing joyful education to others about civil war artifacts. A Public Relations VP does stand up comedy acts on the weekends to support his true love, providing humor to others. Frustrated with Internet Dating? Top Five Ways to Find Your Mate Without a Computer

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

By David Steele In a new trend, singles are becoming increasingly disillusioned with internet dating and seeking alternatives. With millions of singles using the internet and the promises and success stories of online matchmaking websites, I’ve heard the same thing over and over from singles across the country who are frustrated with internet dating- “It’s great to have a lot of choices, but it takes a lot of time and I don’t seem to meet anyone I have much chemistry with.” This trend makes sense to me. In some ways, using a computer to find your soul mate is like trying to cook a souffle in a microwave. Some things just require time, effort, and the human touch. This article will explore the upsides and downsides of internet dating, attempt to explain why internet dating doesn’t work for some (most?) singles, and suggest some alternatives. Top Five Advantages of Internet Dating 1. Reach more singles 2. Inexpensive (relatively) 3. Enough information available for efficient sorting 4. Anonymous 5. Easy to control most aspects of the process Top Five Downsides of Internet Dating 1. Overwhelming number of choices 2. Encourages “shopping” mentality 3. Many users are less than truthful 4. Some users are game players, predators. cheaters 5. Complacency- tempting to rely on the internet and exclude other options The Internet, Chemistry, and the Law of Attraction Today’s singles seem to be relying on their computer a bit too much and complacently expecting the internet to deliver their soul mate. This is a version of the Fairytale Trap (one of fourteen dating traps in my book “Conscious Dating”). The internet is a wonderful tool (I use it!) but doesn’t seem to work effectively as the only tool for finding potential partners. I believe that the two biggest reasons why the internet isn’t effective for many singles is the role of chemistry and the Law of Attraction. Chemistry is critically important for a successful relationship. Everyone wants a partner they feel strong chemistry with, and a relationship would be pretty dry and unsustainable without it. The Fourth Principle of Conscious Dating is “Balance Your Heart With Your Head.” Identifying your requirements, needs, and wants does not minimize the need for chemistry. You need both! I like to think of chemistry as the radar that helps you find your target, then you use your requirements, needs and wants to decide “yes” or “no.” The Law of Attraction is inescapeable and either works for you or against you. If you’re “busy” or “shy” and the internet is your only means of reaching potential partners, in a way you’re hiding behind your computer and the Law of Attraction is not likely to help you. The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like” and “energy follows attention,” meaning your results reflect your thoughts and your actions. Over the years I’ve become convinced that the Law of Attraction is a powerful law of the Universe, like gravity. Just like “what goes up must come down,” try as you might, you can’t avoid or change the principle that “like attracts like.” If you’re hiding behind your computer, what people, relationships, and results are you likely to attract? Top Five Ways to Find Your Mate Without a Computer 1. Use your support community Most people find their soul mate through someone they know, so don’t be a lone ranger (another dating trap!) and lean on your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to assist you to meet potential partners. 2. Start a dating pool or networking group Get a group of singles together (any gender mix) to support each other to meet potential partners. Most singles know lots of other singles of both genders, so pool your resources and do some matchmaking for each other! 3. Reach out to people In today’s busy world with cell phones, texting, instant messaging, e-mail, and the internet promoting impersonal ways of interacting with others, it’s easy to forget the lost art of engagement with real people that are right in front of you. Make an effort to reach out to the people you come into contact with in your everyday life and watch your relationships blossom. 4. Make more friends Since most people find their soul mate through someone they know, be open to developing new friendships and expanding your support community. Chances are you already have acquaintances at work and other places that you would enjoy spending more time with. Friends are easier to find than dates, and friendships often last longer than romantic relationships! 5. Get involved Too many singles lead isolated lives centered around work, home, and a few friends. Participating in clubs, groups, classes, charities, church/temple, is the most important way you can leverage the Law of Attraction to help you find your soul mate. You’ll meet new people, make new friends, and pursue hobbies and interests important to you that bring you in contact with other compatible singles. Balancing High Tech with High Touch While technology can help us in many ways, let’s not forget that as humans we are social beings and finding your life partner is a relationship goal that is most effectively acheived by getting away from your computer and living a full, rich life among real people doing the things you enjoy that make your life meaningful. As the ancient Roman playwright Terence once said “Moderation in all things.” Do you think he meant the internet as well? Let’s address this trend of over-reliance on the internet for finding love. Please pass this article along to the frustrated singles in your life that you care about! Shopping Online for Free Mobile Phone Offers?

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jennifer_Lopaz]Jennifer Lopaz While shopping online for mobile phones, you may often come across offers like cash back offers, free handsets, cheap deals, discounts, free line rentals and more. Youll find mobile companies or dealers giving away free mobile phones or sell them at a loss when you sign up for their service plan. If you are wondering why they are being so nice then you are not aware of the fact that they recoup that loss when the carrier pays their commission. These offers attract customers as they are generally attracted by the word free. But these free offers are being offered only when a customer signs up for their service plan. All the free handsets are free up front and usually there are great deals on brand new phones with rebates. But one thing you need to be careful is that when you sign the contract of the mobile phone plan with the free mobile phone, the service is going to cost you more than the original price of the mobile phone. The general procedure is you need to pay for the phone first and then redeem a rebate for the price of the phone. While buying free offers like free phones read all the instructions in order to get your cash back. These free handsets can be great if you are looking forward to upgrade your phone and get a better brand. Before buying a free phone, make a list of features you need in your mobile phone like text messaging capabilities, internet ready, real tones, MP3 player and other features. There might be a limited choice in free offers but most likely you would get what you are looking for. So keep yourself informed and updated about the facts of free mobile phone offers and then go ahead browse the websites offering them. Direct Home Loans

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Richard_Romando]Richard Romando A lender gives a direct loan to a customer without a third party involved. Direct loans provide financial institutions more discretion when granting loans. A person can apply for a direct home loan to purchase a new house, to refinance an existing loan, for repairs or for renovations and improvements of an existing house. The financial institution has its own set of criteria that has to be fulfilled before approving the loan. Generally, such institutions require a thorough financial profile of the borrower. There are many ways to apply for a direct home loan. A person can walk into any financial institution and apply for one, or apply online through various website lenders. One advantage of applying through the Internet is that it allows a borrower to compare the rates offered by different lenders. Interactive calculators are also available online to help borrowers calculate the amount they are eligible to apply for. They also calculate monthly payments and compute the time needed to repay the loan. In case a person with an existing loan requires more money, they can choose to apply for a second mortgage or use their equity line of credit. The second mortgage loan always has a higher interest rate due to the risk involved. The borrower can use his established equity to apply for a line of credit. This allows him to withdraw small amounts of money when required. It is up to the lender to approve or disapprove the application of loan. Anyone applying online, must submit to a credit check. They must provide proper explanations for any negative remarks on their credit report. The report compliments all other paper work and is the criteria for interest rate approvals. Therefore, it is necessary to understand all the documents including eligibility requirements. This helps make the application procedure easier and eliminates any chances of problems later on. Best Car Loan Rates - Prime Lenders vs. Sub Prime Auto Lenders

Friday, February 15th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Carrie_Reeder]Carrie Reeder The best car loan rates are out there if you search for them. Based on your credit past, you may find either a prime or sub prime auto lender is your best choice. The surest way to find the answer is to request free online loan quotes to narrow your choices. The Differences Between Prime and Sub Prime Lenders Prime and sub prime lenders differ in the types of loans they offer. Prime lenders offer A loans to those with credit scores of 650 or higher. Sub prime lenders provide loans to everyone else. Sometimes though, financing companies offer both types of financing. Sub prime loans have higher rates and fees since the risk is higher for lenders. Reasonable lenders will only charge a couple of points higher for most types of loans. Who Has The Best Rates? The only way to find who has the best rates is to do your own comparison shopping. Depending on your credit score, you may be surprised who can offer you the most competitive package. As important as low rates are, fees should also be considered. Fortunately the government made comparison shopping easy by requiring lenders to disclose the APR of any loan. The APR includes both closing costs and rates. Find The Right Lender You should start your car loan shopping online, not at the dealership. There are too many incentives for the salespeople for you to be sure you are getting the best deal. Start with a car loan broker site that brings many lenders together. You can quickly access free quotes from there. Then follow up with other lenders. And dont give permission for a lender to access your credit report unless you are pretty sure you want to go with their offer. Otherwise, you will find that multiple credit inquires will lower your score and hurt your loan application. While there are no instant solutions to finding the best auto loan rates, online sites do make it faster. A couple of hours spent securing your vehicle financing will both save you money and make the car buying process easier.
